ATTENTION ALL WOMEN..............

Itching, burning and rounds of antibiotics with no relief! It makes you want to scream. Is it a yeast infection? A bladder infection?

Maybe it’s BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS……….

In case you have never heard of it, BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS, also known as BV is easily one of the most annoying, persistent and wrongly diagnosed of female conditions. It is a condition where the normal balance of bacteria in the vagina is disrupted and replaced by an overgrowth of certain bacteria.

Thanks to the powerful insider information in BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS BREAKTHROUGH thousands of women worldwide have finally found relief from itching, offensive odor and discharge!

From the desk of Lauretta Forday

       Dear Friend,

n  Bacterial Vaginosis Breakthrough, you will discover how to:

*  Achieve relief from endless itching and burning feeling that

         bacterial vaginosis can cause

     *  Reduce the uncomfortable excess vaginal discharge that is    common in BV sufferers

     * Avoid experiencing painful sex that often accompanies BV

* Deal with the embarrassing vaginal odor that is one of the most distressing symptoms of BV

  * Never have your BV symptoms mistaken for a yeast or bladder   infection again

     * Combat the urge to go to the bathroom when you don’t need to   which is due to irritation from  bacterial vaginosis

BV is also one of the most common reasons that women have to visit their doctor or gynecologist. Take a look at some shocking statistics –

  • A whopping 40% of women have had BV at least once in their life
  • An incredible 16% of pregnant women have BV as part of the usual course of action.
  • Of those 16% African Americans are most affected with 23 % being affected followed by 16% for Hispanics, 9% for Caucasians and 6% for Asians
  • According to the Center for Disease Control it is the most commonly diagnosed and prevalent infection in women in the United States.
  • BV affects women from many nations all over the world.

Anybody who has had bacterial vaginosis knows that dealing with the smell, discomfort and mess of it is no way to live I should know. I have had bacterial vaginosis for years. I finally beat it using the methods described in my book: Bacterial Vaginosis Breakthrough”

    This is my story……

My name is Lauretta. I am a registered nurse, midwife and public health practitioner.

I’m also a health researcher and author of several books on natural cures for women’s health problems. I struggled with BV for a decade until I found a way to manage and then cure it. If you too suffer from BV I hope my story will inspire you to be free from this miserable and bothersome condition …...

I am married with three children. My first bout of bacterial vaginosis occurred after I had my first child 11 years ago. It was a bit of a surprise as I had never suffered from any type of vaginal infection before.

Three months into my pregnancy, I developed this awful itch, which despite the application of topical vaginal creams refused to go away.

I went to my doctor who diagnosed it as yeast infection and put me on a course of antibiotics. Antibiotics did seem to help (for a little while anyway!).

I remember thinking, “Well good riddance, this itching is cured. Well I was wrong!

I was clear of bacterial vaginosis for about three months and then it came back with a vengeance!  Especially the itching! This time I had large amounts of vaginal discharge and the smell and burning feeling nearly drove me crazy.

At this point I was six months pregnant and feeling quite fed up. 16% of women get BV as a matter of course during their pregnancy.

I went to the doctor who looked at me with pity and said, “I’m sorry there is not a lot I can do for you. Have some more antibiotics and vaginal creams. Hopefully that should help. Goodbye!”

I went home, took my antibiotics and yes… the infection did clear.  Of course, the “cure” did not last longer than a few weeks.  Before I knew it I was back on the BV merry-go-round again – suffering from painful itching and burning, taking even more antibiotics and experiencing an even more severe case of BV a few weeks later.

Does this story seem familiar to you? Are you sick of going around in a vicious circle when it comes to the treatment of your BV? Do you keep taking the antibiotics that are prescribed for BV only to find the infection is even worse just a few weeks later?

Maybe you will identify with the rest of what I have to tell you too!

The birth of my son did seem to clear me of bacterial vaginosis for a few months, but then BV returned to plague me on and off for the next ten years! That’s right! For an entire decade I took countless amounts of antibiotics to no avail!

Were you also told that bacterial vaginosis would disappear once your pregnancy is over? This is not always true!

I just trusted what my doctor had to say and kept dutifully taking my endless prescriptions of antibiotics until I hit rock bottom about three years ago. After the birth of my third child about three years ago, bacterial vaginosis came back with such pain that I actually cried!

What ensued was the same old story – the trips to the Doctor, the taking of more antibiotics, the feelings of self-pity and above all the feeling of helplessness that modern medicine could not do anything to help me.

However I was jolted into taking action after an embarrassing incident took place. My second son who was three years old is the one who gave me the wake up call. You must be scratching your head wondering how a three-year-old child helped me deal with BV.

Well, let me explain………

On my birthday I had a few friends over and we were having lots of fun and enjoying ourselves. It almost made me forget about the most recent bout of BV I was dealing with. My son, who was playing with some friends, got hurt and rushed over to me. To comfort him I laid his head on my lap.

As I was trying to pacify him by stroking his back he suddenly moved away from me and stood up and asked –

“Mummy, what’s that stinky smell?’

“What smell?” I asked.

“Mummy, you are very smelly. Why do you smell yucky (meaning awful) Mummy?”

He said it very loudly because of course he had no idea! For me I felt I was going to die of shame and embarrassment! I could sense that everyone else was embarrassed as the room suddenly became very quiet. You could hear a pin drop! Well after that most humiliating incident, I vowed to find answers to my very embarrassing problem!

My first step was to change Doctors. This time the Doctor I saw was different. She was a woman and she had suffered from BV herself. She did not send me off with a prescription of antibiotics but asked if I had ever tried alternative medicines.

She suggested that I need to look at Bacterial vaginosis in a more holistic manner and learn how to manage it by dealing with my lifestyle, diet and stress. Having your life in control makes you less vulnerable to frequent attacks.

I went to this new Doctor and she did a swab to find out exactly what type of vaginal infection I had. I had seen many Doctors before and not one had ever taken a sample. I was simply been told that I had a yeast infection and had been prescribed antibiotics.

Well the test results of the swab came back and the Doctor gave the verdict......

I DID NOT HAVE YEAST INFECTION! I HAD BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS.

Is any of this sounding familiar? Have you been to many Doctors or even the same Doctor again and again and never been given one lab test to confirm that indeed what you do have is a yeast infection?

If not then you better get that swab as you could have bacterial vaginosis. Bacteria vaginosis does not have anything at all to do with yeast.

How could so many doctors be so wrong and just be confident in assuming that I was suffering from a yeast infection?

It is because the symptoms are almost identical to other common vaginal infections. The other two infections are trichomoniasis, a sexually transmitted disease, and the fungal infection commonly known as a yeast infection or thrush. Even with my medical knowledge I still did not think that the doctors could be so wrong, bacterial vaginosis was the last thing on my mind.

The American Social Health Association conducted a study which found that 70% of women used over the counter medications designed to treat yeast infections before calling their doctor. Many women who self–diagnose vaginal yeast infections, in many cases have symptoms which are related to other conditions, such as bacterial vaginosis.

Your cue that your itching, burning, urge to go, vaginal discharge and odor are NOT caused by a yeast infection is if the infection does not clear up with the first round of antibiotics. That is the point at which you should be asking your doctor for a swab to see exactly what kind of infection you have.

Don’t do what I did and wait a decade until you get a second opinion or ask for a swab!

To continue with my story and how I came to write this book ………

Knowing what I had came as a great relief to me. It inspired me to go home and start researching the topic. Even though one in every three American women will suffer from BV it still does not get as much attention as yeast infection. This statistics are similar for women all over the world.

Bacterial vaginosis affects you in every way. I lost my confidence and self esteem.  Bacterial vaginosis is irritating, painful and demoralizing.

First of all I never left the house without wondering how I really smelt. I must have spent thousands over the decade on all kinds of douches, deodorizing sprays and scents trying to find a way to minimize that fishy odor. I never got too close to anyone and I never hugged them for long for fear they would discover my “secret.” I would always sit down with my legs firmly shut because I was scared that someone might just catch a whiff of my fishy odor.

I hated sex because of the constant pain. The infection made my vagina feel dry and irritated. I rolled over, pretended to fall asleep and wore face cream. Anything to avoid intimacy and the dreadful pain that followed intercourse.

Over time my case of BV also started to affect my relationship with my husband. I would avoid sex because I was afraid he would notice my vaginal discharge if I had an active case. Even when I was clear of BV I would avoid sex because intercourse seemed to trigger an episode of BV afterwards. The result is that I became more and more stressed about sex and the stress itself would then help trigger an outbreak of bacterial vaginosis.

How can you face sex when you are in pain and you know that sex aggravates the situation? Sex is no longer pleasurable but something to endure and get over with!

Once I realized what I had been put through as a result of being misdiagnosed for all of that time, I was determined to find out all that I could about bacterial vaginosis – how to get a proper diagnosis, how to avoid it, how to treat it and how to prevent it from ever happening again. I just knew that this information will be invaluable to so many women who are simply ignorant about this infection.

Do any of the following situations apply to you? Use Your mouse to check all that apply –

Are you on rounds and rounds of antibiotics for ‘yeast infections’ that never seem to go away?

Do you find yourself buying douches and vaginal sprays that seem to aggravate rather than disguise vaginal odor?

Do you avoid sex because you find it painful or because you are afraid your partner will detect  an odor?

Have you been told by a Doctor that you have a ‘yeast infection’ and to just put up with it?

Were you diagnosed with your first vaginal infection during the early months of your pregnancy?

Have you had repeated “yeast infections” that never seem to be completely cured by   antibiotics?

Have you found yourself to be depressed or feeling hopeless because you are in pain? Are you spending yet more money on antibiotics or have experienced a humiliating incident to do with your vaginal odor?

Do you want to get rid of your bacterial vaginosis once and for all, absolutely and for good?

If you have checked even one of the boxes above then you will benefit from reading my book.

“For years I was made to feel like I was dirty, when really I had an invasive bacteria.”

 Hello Lauretta!

I picked up your book because I was at my wit’s end with regards to my recurrent so-called bladder and yeast infections. You would not believe the number of doctors who treated me like someone who was promiscuous or who did not know how to wipe myself. If I heard “wipe from front to back” one more time, I was going to scream!

Thanks to your book I was finally able to go to a doctor, demand a swab and get the medication that I needed to treat my BV. You also have good tips in there about how to deal with doctors that make you feel small for having a very common problem! For years I was made to feel like I was dirty, when really I had an invasive bacteria. Thank you for existing!

“… A correct diagnosis not giving birth cleared up my B.V.!”

Dear Lauretta,

Like you I first experienced BV symptoms with the birth of my first child. My obstetrician told me that the infection would go away after birth but if anything it came back just a few weeks later!  I was despondent as the antibiotics prescribed really upset my stomach and gave me diarrhea. I was taking so many prescriptions of antibiotics in a row I was afraid I was going to become allergic to them.

Thankfully your book came along just as I was preparing to accept chronic diarrhea and a dry mouth as being a permanent part of my life. A correct diagnosis not giving birth cleared up my BV!  I can’t believe the doctors are missing this!

“I got my sex life back!”

Dear Lauretta,

"I really identified with the story about how your little boy detected an odor around you. I have a story that beats that as a similar odor was detected by my lover. I don’t think I was ever more embarrassed in my life and it affected my sexual confidence so much that eventually the relationship did not work anymore and we broke up.

From reading your book I learned ways to keep my vagina healthy so that my body would not be vulnerable to additional attacks. Since I have been properly diagnosed the odor has gone away and I am now seeing someone else. Thanks to Bacterial Vaginsosis Breakthrough, I got my sex life back!”

“Reading this book was like finding a sane friend!”

Dear Lauretta,

I have always been a very painfully shy woman and I was also an only child. I have never had anyone to talk about what happens “down there.” It is also not in my culture to talk about these things much.

Like so many women I just believed the doctor and suffered for years. I took the antibiotics with no change. I was also always getting sick and worried that the antibiotics were affecting my immunity. Your book was given to me by my daughter Fatimah who attends University. It changed my life and helped me tell my doctor what I thought.

Thank you. Reading this book was like finding a sane friend.

The other girls have stopped teasing me!”

Dear Lauretta,

I am only seventeen years old and I have been having vaginal infections for over a year now. The doctor said it was caused by my period and by me not wiping up after properly. I took the pills he prescribed and also spent all of my allowance on trying to get rid of my fishy smell.

My worst day was like your worst day with your son. The girl’s volleyball team started calling me “Salmon Woman” and other terrible names. Many also thought the smell was due to me having sex. After I gave your book to my mom she took me to the doctor who diagnosed BV. I tried all the natural remedies you suggested with great success.  I have no more vaginal odor. The other girls have stopped teasing me!

Your book led me to finally understand what was wrong with my wife.”

Dear Lauretta,

Thank you for writing this book. It led me to finally understand what was wrong with my wife.

After we had our first child last year our sex life was stopped dead in its tracks. Intercourse became painful for her. She was always avoiding me, having a headache and would not talk to me about sex. I thought it was about me.

One time I caught her crying in the bathtub. She was sitting there in a tub of cold water, trying to make the pain go away.

While researching yeast infections on the Internet I came across your book and after reading it I insisted that she get tested for B.V. She now is now free from BV and is feeling much better. I got my wife back!

“I followed your advice to make simple but effective changes to my lifestyle and I now feel better!”

Dear Lauretta,

Thank you for writing such an intelligent and frank book about this topic. I was one of the lucky ones who was correctly diagnosed with B.V. after about a year or so of suffering. However I could not figure out why I kept having outbreaks even though I was taking the appropriate meds for it.

I followed your advice to make small, simple but effective changes to my lifestyle. I am pleased to report I have not had any BV attack for several months!
